Minus Plus Minus Equals Midas

Gesture Jesters Jump About
rent seeking that rented garment
that adorns our now fashionable inequity

An anti-political economy
purchased…
But never ever paid for

——
Making even this election all about me…

So now I can write that fictional Oval Office or Situation Room scene where the principals are actually parsing the threats of the day…

“The President listened, without interruption, for the whole of the ten minutes it took to layout the options. Then the room went quiet; maybe ninety seconds, but no more than two minutes, as the leader of the free world came to a decision.

“Take him out,” she said, ”and don’t advise the Gang Of Eight until he’s dead.”

I’m spry yet retired. I reside in the inner city of a major metropolitan area of the United States. I read politics. I watch baseball. I hum along with the tune. I June swoon, and moon the bad poem. Post here, are old and new. Opinions are my very own, except when wrong.

Comments? Cool!
