Apogee, Perigee, and an Apology

Spring Training For NaPoWriMo April 2020.

Apogee, Perigee, and an Apology

seems
it is not going to be Easter
either the rock is too large or
we’re not ready to roll

as we can barely now stroll-
having dawdled through
late winter as that blood
moon rose

shut-eye to the lunar New
Year and that satellite of fear
that was just about
to orbit us.

I’m spry yet retired. I reside in the inner city of a major metropolitan area of the United States. I read politics. I watch baseball. I hum along with the tune. I June swoon, and moon the bad poem. Post here, are old and new. Opinions are my very own, except when wrong.
