Fame And Famine

Sarah Jeong to the NYT is kerfuffle enough to kill any thought of any value in what passes for Social Media in today’s tech totalitarianism.

Mix some Alt-right yahooism with Social Justice Condottieri, then sprinkle some mid-brow both-sides bromide, and what you get a pasta bowl of punk and purple punishment.

Until the white man’s burden is recognized as a “human” stain, any shared breaking of bread must be accompanied by all wearing a bib. And if dinner survives until dessert, you best believe portions of the sweet will be laced with presentism.

Seems the Social Media business model is to feed a binge of dining out on the past.
