Don’t Follow This Blog.

This is a custom theme. Made more custom by the fact that it doesn’t seem to play well with this “fork” of the blog/cms platform.

But that’s not really any big shake, as not one of the many store bought themes I’ve purchased, can shake hands gently with the platform configuration here. ( They work on my self hosted sites.)

But no big deal? What’s a couple of Benjamin’s between friends. Besides I’ve only paid to be the product here for almost a decade, and one would think I’d get hip to the dip.

So, let’s just build a rip and read. (Which is what blogging is really all about.) I put up a post, you glance, and prance away. Not a thing to say about that post from yesterday, and God only knows if last year ever really even existed.

Fake news is fake news because the top-down feed is the monetary muse, that allows the ruse.

The recent, decent or not, is what generates currency. Prime time is quick time cash because efficacy in the digital age can only be made if one makes… “a moment in time,” the only thing that matters. And if you think that a theme that allows selected content to be featured is anything akin to navigating to a “jump page” of a print newspaper, then you never appreciated how much ancillary news you can acquired when making that ink stained hop.

Now, a body of work, be it a personal blog or a big city broadside is so analogue. So why bother?

So here’s the bottom line. You’ve made or will make a mistake if you follow this post for the poems. I’ve posted my last poem here. And ixnay on any wordplay like prose poems or that give away flash fiction, that I gainsay most didn’t even know that I touted.

In the early days of sharing on-line, one was advised that a way to convinced readers that you were a serious player was to run a few advertisements. Well here’s a serious middle finger handbill for ya. If Social Media, big and small, community and blogging platforms all, don’t clean up their act, the Federal Government will. And we don’t want that.

Now off to toggle out of being listed in the Reader here. And float a bit more buoyant maintenance/comming soon place holder, while I search for a theme that might actually work.

I’m spry yet retired. I reside in the inner city of a major metropolitan area of the United States. I read politics. I watch baseball. I hum along with the tune. I June swoon, and moon the bad poem. Post here, are old and new. Opinions are my very own, except when wrong.
