Mid-Term Minutiae, And It Ain’t Even March Madness.

The potentate of pleonexia and self-aggrandizing military parades, stiffed the loyal opposition when he to chose not to declassify the Dems pushback against the Nunes memo, memo.

That’s double troubling. Which way I can’t say, but the decision was a late Friday drop in the daily dumpster of a Whitehouse overflowing news cycle. Recycle Recycle. And all picked it up, but Fox News sprayed some Febreze on it, and the whiff of another conspiracy about The Deep State versus The Deep Stink was quickly floated.

Wait, just what “ailes” me? Why am I so wooden, damn near balsa like, when writing politics? Roger that.

Well then, let’s throw some home team sexy into the game.

What average percentage of votes does a prospective Pelosi Speakership cost Democrats in individual, swing vote, house districts this coming mid-term?

Should Nancy Pelosi announce her retirement, and PDQ?

This is P.M. Carpenter interesting, and check out the comments.

It begins.

Now, some of ya’ll may call this old school. Seems like yesterday to me. Then again, so do those 2010 mid-terms.

I’m spry yet retired. I reside in the inner city of a major metropolitan area of the United States. I read politics. I watch baseball. I hum along with the tune. I June swoon, and moon the bad poem. Post here, are old and new. Opinions are my very own, except when wrong.

  1. I’ve never been a Pelosi fan, but she never made me want to vote against my ideals. And the woman did us proud this past week. On a related note, Trump still sucks.

    1. I’m curious. If you ran the DNC would you spend some prophylactic pennies for a national ad campaign to reintroduce Pelosi, her pedigree, and how she pushed through the House the Obama view of how best to handle that GOP induced Great Recession. Is there a story there to counter the GOP narrative that’s she just some San Francisco elite who wouldn’t know an Applebees from an Armani. Would that prophylactic give her national numbers any bounce.
Where the rubber hits the road, does she help or hurt the Democrats take back the House? Snz and I, are specking she’s a minus 4 to 6 points for dems in swing vote districts, and this nation needs a check on 1600 now.

      Thanks for the comment.

      1. I have to admit, in Obama’s first term I felt like smacking Pelosi upside the head. Her grin was too wide. But she wouldn’t be the first Dem to benefit from a party makeover.
