End Of The Ensemble

in Poetry

to the left of the radio
to right of the television
sits the tablet on a periodical
that centers all I see and read
and hear

make book…
compartmentalization is our
juncture’s piece work
and making peace with
that means that parts no longer
sum the whole

and not the role
I was born to play
as I act the analog
to algorithm’s theater
of conceit

The play a thing
of theory and should be
with players wardrobed
in one size fits all

I’m spry yet retired. I reside in the inner city of a major metropolitan area of the United States. I read politics. I watch baseball. I hum along with the tune. I June swoon, and moon the bad poem. Post here, are old and new. Opinions are my very own, except when wrong.
