S-10-capSo, Steve Bannon is making big news for quotes attributed to Mr.Bannon by Michael Wolff in Mr.Wolff’s to be released book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” But when I go to the community reader here at WordPress.com that’s not what I see. I see a post that reads as follows:

Well, Steve Bannon has written a book, “Fire and Fury,” and it has changed the history of his employment. He now joins the ranks of Papadapoulos, Manafort, and Flynn in their post employment demotions to coffee boy.

A few choice quotes from Brannon’s book—

“The chance that Don Jr. did not walk these Jumos up to his father’s office of the 26th floor is zero,”

“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”

Now this is a writer who I’ve enjoyed reading previously and share some political sympathy, but you just can’t be that intellectually lazy.

Not now. It’s tough enough to deal with the faux facts and the misdirection often proffered by others with differing political interest, but to let fly that the  President’s former advisor, and one who was  initially named to the NSC, has published a book asserting that the President’s son has committed treason just fuels our fact free politic.

It would have taken just 30 seconds to check the facts.

I’ve got to leave this posting community.

  1. I read a disturbing account of Michael Wolff’s previous writings, and his oft-struggle with facts and consistency. This is upsetting to see because it tarnishes that which might be accurate reporting in this current book. I guess we’ll have to wait for a more reliable account in the future. This one has rattled the windows and doors at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, however. So maybe that’s good enough for now. — Marty

    1. Hey. Yep Wolff is known for some questionable scribbling, but 1600 took the bait and with it’s ridiculous legal action, now it’s the book Donald Trump doesn’t want you to read.
